Back in Business (+ new blog)

Hello! I'm just checking in to let you know that I just now posted my first post on my new blog. I really felt that I needed some change/challenge and therefore decided to start blogging in my own language, Swedish. I'm a little nervous but still excited to try it out. It was a while since I blogged (wrote, to be honest) in Swedish.

The new blog is called Filippa Fangirl, without the s in Fangirls. I know most of you don't know how to read Swedish, but some things are quite easy to understand if you want to give it a try... :)

HIATUS... for a while

Sometimes I just want to read, without thinking about reviews and blogging about the books I read. It's what I will do now for a while. I don't know for how long, but it's definitely the right choice! :)

CR: The House at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman (it is so so SO weird)

Feel very free to add me as a friend on GoodReads if you want to see what I read♥

Pages Read in March + Book Stack

I tried something new, and maybe a little unnecessary (but very fun!), in March.

I wrote down the exact amount of pages I read each day in March, and from there I made a cute little diagram and a matching stack of books. I really enjoyed doing this, and I will definitely continue doing it. I made the book stack in the Adobe Illustrator Draw app on my iPad, and the diagram in Gimp 2 (I had to make a completely new diagram earlier, because the original one from the drawing app was so ugly on the computer. Fortunately, this new one turned out much better).

The amount of pages I read in March:

Each color in the diagram corresponds to a book in the stack below:

One of the colors in the diagram (the dark blue on March 12) does not have a corresponding book in the stack, because I did not finish that book in March.

I love to organize my reading in all ways possible (Goodreads, different lists etc.), and it's always fun to see which days I read a lot, and when I didn't read at all. Also, when I finish a novel and get to color one of the books in my little stack, it feels like such an accomplishment on its own. I love it.

I got this idea from BooksandLala. She uses a Bullet Journal, but I like to do it the digital way.

Do you organize what you've read in any way similar to this?

March Wrap Up & April TBR

March is over, and the third month of reading is done. I managed to read a whole bunch of awesome books in March, although I had a tiiiiiny slump in the middle of the month. I'm so pleased with this month's reading.

This month's success: I read the Grisha Trilogy AND the Six of Crows duology in 10 days!! If you put your mind to it... They were all really great books!
