Tag: My Life in Books

My Life in Books Tag

I feel like now is the perfect time for a book tag, don't you think? I personally love all kinds of bookish lists and tags, and hopefully you do as well. I found the tag here!

1. Find a book for each of your initials

F: Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott
L: Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
F: Four by Veronica Roth

2. Count your age along your bookshelf: What book is it?

My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick is book number 19 on my bookshelf.

3. Pick a book set in your city/country

I would never find a book set in my city (it's impossible), but a book set in my country is no problem. A Man Called Ove (En man som heter Ove) by Fredrik Backman is set in Sweden.

4. Pick a book that represents a destination you’d love to travel to

The book: any Harry Potter book.
Destination: Hogwarts, or any other place in the Harry Potter world to be honest.

5. Pick a book that’s your favorite color

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling and Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi are both my favorite color: blue.

6. Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

Perhaps not the fondest of fondest memories, but anyhow: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I read it in Swedish in 2011 and I actually wanted to stop reading it after 1 chapter. I didn't, because it was sort of required reading in school, and I ended up loving it. I bought book 2 and 3 and I think it was the first series I ever finished.

7. Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

Candide by Voltaire for sure. I read it for my Swedish class in 10th grade and it was horrible. Of course, I read it in Swedish, but I still couldn't understand what was going on. I read it, but I didn't read it. I think my whole class hated it.

8. Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest accomplishment when you finish it?

This one is super easy to answer. Definitely A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin which, by the way, I've been reading since May 2016. I cannot seem to finish it. :(

Feel free to do this yourself! I tag anyone who wants to do it. :)
